Preparing for the Future

Near Term & Long Term

by Dale Rothenberger | Insurance/Risk Management

This year has shown us that truly the most unpredictable of problems can spring up out of nowhere and bring disastrous results with it. Thousands of businesses have faced hardships in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, and plenty more have been forced to shut their doors for the time being. Along with the pandemic, there are dozens of other risks that should still be accounted for. We’re reaching the end of 2020, but it’s not too late to start planning ahead to make 2021 a better year for you and your employees.

Here at Valander Group, we’re available to help you prepare and face a plethora of different situations that could arise. If you want to directly improve your workplace safety culture, you should take a look at our risk management services and contact us with any questions that come to your mind. A few examples of what we can provide are employee protection programs, monthly inspections, hazard assessment programs, and more! The more programs set up and the more training conducted only helps your workplace be better prepared whenever an emergency would strike.

COVID-19 has made it even harder for businesses to stay afloat and function like usual. This has also prompted action for many businesses to adapt to the virus and put measures in place to try and protect staff and employees alike. Transitioning to an online storefront would be the safest option, but many businesses don’t have the ability to swiftly close their doors and move everything online. The next tactic to combat the virus would be to put measures in place to try and limit contact while providing business like normal. This includes enforcing masks, keeping six feet apart from other individuals, and using hand sanitizer regularly.

The near future is still very unprecedented, but for now society will be social distancing and actively adapting to the pandemic. If you’re facing struggles due to the pandemic, don’t hesitate to contact us if you need support!
